This course is designed for doctoral students, who already got introduced to the paradigms of research normally covered in a course on research philosophy. Another important assumption of this class is that the students learn about statistical and other quantitative methods elsewhere. Therefore, while the high-level concepts, such as research design, types of data, etc. are introduced in a comprehensive manner, the methods of data analysis focus on qualitative approaches.
